How does it work?
You can just keep calling from your own phone as you normally would; all techniques take place on the network, behind the scenes and therefore has no impact on your daily operations. Your phonecalls are now routed over your WAN connection; this applies both to internal and inbound- and outbound calls. This means that all calls are routed via a central managed Session Border Controller (SBC) and will be delivered via the cheapest possible way to the recipient of the call. Conversely, incoming calls are also routed via the managed SBC into the network, so expensive BRI’s are redundant at any location.
